Day 19.

This morning a fellow student, Natalia (Nat for short), and I hosted a hour radio show on SirenFM 107.3 in Lincoln. It was one of the biggest projects on this trip besides this blog. We were split up into two different groups for each of the hours of the broadcast. Jake and Shelby were presenters for the first hour and we got the second hour.

All of us students had to make a piece for the radio broadcast. We could do it in groups so I did a package on afternoon tea at the Petwood Hotel by myself and I helped with a music shop package with Leanne. Both were entertaining to produce and edit. It is fun to figure out how to make something out of raw audio into a nice radio piece.

Editing audio is a lot like video editing but with the pesky images. Haha. I felt at ease editing in Audition. I’m pretty proud of my package if you want to listen. Winks.

I have had a lot of fun on this trip. I’m going to miss this group of people… tears.
