Out of the Gate, with no time.

Day 1.

Right out of the gate, I am thankful of not being alone. People come with new experiences and ideas that is rather helpful.

We were really close to missing our connection in SFO (San Francisco) which put us on a big of a frenzy. Running through the airport to make the next flight. Mental note, allow an hour or so for a connection on an adventure. Worth the wait, in my opinion.

The long one. The long nine hour flight was extended when we waiting on the tarmac to realize there was luggage that needed to unloaded and hydraulics that needed to be checked. The battery pack I got from my little brother for Christmas pays off (thank you lou). Also I am currently working on this post from the Warner Brothers Making of Harry Potter Studio Lot. The extra battery power is helping, as well as the free WiFi.

The day fill of jet lag plagued the rest of the learning times. Anyway we went to the British Library. We’ll go again, mother, because I was so tired I feel like I was fading in and out during the tour. Seeing all the old books, ancient even, was really cool. Seeing the detail and time put into books really cements in the idea of books as art. And he told us again when the Gutenberg Bible was made, hopefully I will remember this time. (1490, maybe, or is it 1450)…
